Hi!  Love the newsletter--hope to meet you at a British car meet sometime as I'm only a state away (NC). We have a lot of Triumphs and a Standard, but here's...well...what might be the most interesting British car we own--a three time winner (2 Class C's and an Index of Effluency) in the 24Hours of LeMons, the Austin Powerless 1975 Marina :-)  Hope you grin!

Very cool race car you have there.
Hope you do well in the events you run.
Always great to see how creative people are with British Cars.

It's actually very stock.  Replaced the Spitfire/TR7 derived 4 speed with an MGB transmission, lowered it and played with the suspension a little (added an anti-roll bar and some polyurethane bump stops as springs to stiffen things up a bit).  We've had a lot of fun running her for the last three years :-)

All Marinas are winners in my book! But of course, I have an odd book. Wink  I actually have a soft spot for Marinas. Would love to have one some day.

And yes, I grinned. Big grin!
